Saw Till 3

My saw till is done and doing its job.

It’s hanging on the wall with French cleats on the back. It is not attached with and hardware. I can take it off and move it easily.

A French cleated wall is so versatile I am going to cover all the shop walls with them. I have seen many different fixtures that I’ll make over time.

Some of the big saws need restoring and some I got for parts. A couple of them are really great saws that just need a little attention.

The little saws are joinery saws and are very precise.

It was nice to finish something in a reasonable amount of time. I’m not used to that.

  1. Simple functional saw till made of affordable wood. Perfect place to store a lot of tools in a small amount of wall space. French cleats are the way to go. I love the through box “dovetails which confirms it was made by a professional woodworker. Any woodworking project that is completed quickly – and still looks great – is a joy. Keep up the good work.

I converted a gun rack into a saw till. It holds twenty saws. Many are small dovetail saws. If I knew how, I’d send a picture of it.
