Stanley 50 1/2 Mitre Saw

I found a Stanley 50 1/2 Mitre Saw at a local Restore for $10. That’s an auto-buy at that price and I grabbed it.

It was probably made between 1947 and 1953. It is nice the identifying plaque is in such good shape.

The saw was made by Disston and is a model 4. It has little rust and a nice etching.

The medallion is how I placed it in the time frame.

The teeth seem to be in good shape.

It might even have been sharpened recently.

I am not a tool collector, I will clean this tool up and use it for the duration. It’s a good one and is worth more than $10.
